Insurance often pays better here. Many vision plans (VSP, EyeMed, MetLife) reimburse a higher percentage when you order through your fitting practice vs. a third-party retailer.

What you can't reorder online
Some lenses require an in-office appointment
- First-time scleral lenses — Dr. Curtis Ono's specialty fits require an in-office appointment
- First-time Ortho-K — initial 6-week fitting protocol
- MiSight first-fit (custom myopia control, requires baseline axial length measurement)
- Lens prescriptions older than 2 years — federal CL rule requires Rx renewal
- Eye-care emergencies — if you're seeing rings, halos, redness, pain, or your lens broke in your eye, call us directly and we'll see you the same day
FAQ
Common questions
My contact prescription expired. Can I still reorder?
Not until you've had a refraction check. Washington state law (and federal contact lens rule) requires a valid Rx ≤ 1-2 years old. Schedule a 15-minute Rx renewal at /book?service=contact-lens-refit.
Can I reorder through PSEC if I was fit somewhere else?
Yes — but we'd want to see you for an in-office visit first so we know what we're putting on your eye. Call us at (206) 526-5222 to set up.
How does HSA/FSA pay?
Use your HSA or FSA debit card at checkout. We provide a medical-supply itemized receipt for reimbursement if your card doesn't auto-approve.
What if my Rx changed between visits?
You'll see a flag on the reorder screen if your last visit's Rx differs from what's on file. We'll prompt you to confirm — or to schedule a re-check if it's been more than a year.
I lost my login. Help.
Click 'Forgot password' on the sign-in screen. We use the email on file at your last visit. If you've never set up portal access, call us at (206) 526-5222 and we'll send you the activation link.
Can I bulk-order for our family?
Yes — once each family member is set up in the portal under one parent's account, bulk reorder is a single workflow. Family discount applies when 2+ Rx ship to the same address.
